He's still young, but at this point I have absolutely no complaints about this hound. This is a first for me because I am very, very picky. He's extremely intelligent with a big nose. He hunts hard, but methodically, not just running around and wasting energy. He can find his own rabbit and circle it. He wants every track in the order that it was laid. On bad scent he will gear down and walk a rabbit back to the gun. On good scent he will run the hair off a rabbit and make the turns at full speed exactly where the rabbit did. He runs his own rabbit, but he loves to pack and he packs well. He has excellent line control and is back to the point. Cooper has a very loud chopping growl, which he uses accurately and honestly. He has no extra mouth and doesn't cold trail. He's close and clean, with controlled power. He has great character and a great personality. He is a gentleman in the pen and always lets his pen mate eat first. He has perfect kennel manners and will sit quietly in the dog box or trailer while other dogs are running. Cooper handles like a baby. All his puppies will be the results of 3rd generation line breeding. This means a 75% chance to produce exactly what I am breeding for.
