My dogs are first and foremost bred and trained to be hunting beagles. I strive to produce a medium fast, close, and clean beagle that has the ability to run with gears.

The core of my breeding program is based around intelligence. Intelligence is the 1st thing that I look for in a hound. The 2nd thing that I look for in my hounds is nose.

In the field the assessment begins with hunt, jump, desire, stamina, and then the ability to circle a rabbit. The next part of the assessment is methods used and the hounds' style of hunt.

I breed for quick, back to the point check work and track for track line control with gears (I don't want the beagles overrunning the ends). Gears allow them to speed up or slow down according to scent conditions and allows them to take the turns where the rabbit does.

Conformation does not circle you a rabbit but as you can see by the beagles on my website, I like a good looking dog.
